The Cav. Nardo Filippetti is the Executive Advisor of Turismo Medico Italia Srl.


President of Lindbergh Hotels, his professional career revolves around the world of hospitality, from the hotel business to tour operating, and today he returns with new enthusiasm to the hospitality sector and, with the TMI project, to a visionary and concrete goal of create social value by connecting supply and demand in the medical tourism market and completely managing the logistic and operational support process for the care service on a global scale.


Respect for work, attachment to the territory, creativity and intuition are the values that have distinguished him during his entrepreneurial career. He began at the end of the sixties when he left for Germany, training in the international hotel hospitality sector. He returned to Italy and put to good use the experiences he had gained abroad on an Adriatic Riviera in strong economic development, managing the first hotel, followed by rapid business expansion. In 1983, pioneeringly glimpsed the opportunity to intercept increasing tourist flows, he founded the tour operator Eden Viaggi, which increasingly specialized in the sale of packages both in Italy and in the world. Thanks to constant growth over the years, in 2016 it proceeds with the acquisition of the Hotelplan and Turisanda brands, synonyms of excellence in the Italian tourist market. By moving over four hundred thousand tourists in more than seventy destinations, the seven brands of the group respond to the different travel needs, all united by the quality of the services offered at every stage of the holiday.


In April 2018 he signed the sale of Eden Travel Group and decided to return to his origins as an innovator and dedicate himself to his entrepreneurial passions. His experience and his profound skills in the tourism industry now make TMI a solid reality able to be an element of authority and seriousness in the innovative market of medical tourism. Appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro in 2014 by the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano for having made himself singularly worthy in the tourism industry, thanks to the skills acquired in the years in 2013 he was named Federturismo Confindustria vice president and in 2018 he was confirmed for the third time as president of Astoi Confindustria Travel, Association of Italian Tour Operators, after the mandates of 2012 and 2016. In November 2016 he was awarded an honorary degree in marketing and communication for companies by the University of Urbino, while in 2017 he entered the register of “I Marchigiani of the year”as a leading figure in the Italian entrepreneurial fabric engaged in the promotion and enhancement of service excellence on an international scale.
