Thursday, December 12th, in Brindisi was held an interesting lecture on the world of medical tourism, which saw TMI protagonist.
During the INTERREG Greece – Italy In-MedTouR event was addressed the topic of new possibilities for patients to travel abroad for treatment.
The focus was made on the potential and development of interchange between hospitals and clinics in the Puglia region and Greece.
A project is also funded by the European Union to facilitate the regions of southern Europe and supported by EOIP of Athens, the Greek health services agency, assisted by the Brindisi Chamber of Commerce (identified as a strategic chamber partner for this initiative) together with Orange Management (technical partner).
Perspectives, strategies and actions are to be implemented to ensure that this brilliant initiative can take off followed one another during speeches of various speakers.
The testimony of TMI in medical tourism
The project plans to move many patients among the two states in the excellence of local health, to guarantee them the best well-being. A goal is coherent and akin to the philosophy of TMI and it is with pleasure that during the intervention TMI brought its direct experience in a sector that already knows well.
Stefano Urbani, CEO & Co-Founder of the company, reported some experiences and testimonies of the patients who relied on their treatment path at TMI, arousing a pleasant interest from the audience and the organizers because he managed to bring real cases and concrete success of medical tourism.
Telling about the direct operational experience with patients, the analysis phase and how to approach and manage patients, allows us to understand that the goal of TMI and the operators must be to help the patient along his path by offering him the possibility of choosing between different solutions and ongoing guarantee of continuous support and assistance.
Another exciting initiative in which it was possible to present the reality of TMI and its decisive role in the medical tourism market.
